The Beard in the Mirror is a classic point-and-click game

And that’s another title for my autobiography gone

If you mention facial hair as part of your game title, then you’ve got my interest. If it is an old-school point-and-click adventure game, then it’s definitely up my alley. The Beard in the Mirror from Paul and Lizo Franzen, a husband and wife creative duo, is exactly that. Whilst the game started as a text adventure, it’s become more of a traditional point-and-click title.

The lead character is a 22-year-old guy with no idea where he’s going — not because he has amnesia — he’s just confused like the rest of us. There’s no zombies, explosions or multiplayer but there’s plenty of dialogue trees and puzzles which is exactly what I’m looking for in an adventure game. There’s no release date set yet and The Beard in the Mirror is confirmed for PC only right now but you can try the duo’s previous title Life in the Dorms on Xbox Indie Games.
