Back in June, Nintendo was holding a contest called the “Nintendo Short Cuts” where anyone could send in a video and win some prizes. Out off all the videos that were submitted, only one out shined the rest and I thought deserved to win. That was Team Awesome’s Punch-Out Trailer. Sadly, it didn’t win but Team Awesome didn’t let that deter them and now they’re back with a new video called Contra Trailer.
The Contra Trailer easily packs in more references and throw backs to games then their last video. The best part about the entire video has to be the dramatic display of The Code cut in between scenes from the movie towards the end. I don’t want to spoil anymore for you so just press play already.
