The DeLorean is coming to Rocket League

On October 21, 2015, of course

On October 21, 2015, the date Marty McFly went to in Back to the Future Part II, Rocket League will be getting some movie-flavored DLC. The DeLorean and a “Burnt Rubber” rocket trail will be added into the game for a measly $1.99. This is only a short time after the Halloween themed DLC launches tomorrow!

In the trailer, you can see the DeLorean retract its wheels as it lifts off for an aerial. When asked on reddit whether or not that actually happens in-game, one of the developers said “YOU BET YOUR ASS IT DOES.” The car also gets the shiny sparks from the movie, presumably when it hits full speed! Never change, Psyonix, so I can keep giving you oodles of money.

Disclosure: I've personally backed Double Fine Adventure, Wasteland 2, Dead State, SPORTSFRIENDS, Torment: Tides of Numera, STRAFE, and The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls. I have previously written for AbleGamers.com and continue to support them whenever possible (like HumbleBundle).
