On a gold console, too!
While we’re all patiently waiting for Nintendo’s reprint of the NES Mini, Japan is gearing up to get a special edition of the device. Coming out in time for Japanese magazine Weekly Shonen Jump’s 50th anniversary, the new version of the console will include a different list of games that covers a bunch of anime based titles. This special Famicom Mini will also be gold painted, which looks pretty damn awesome.
If you’re looking to import this new Famicom Mini, it will be hitting store shelves on July 7 for around 7,980 ¥. While the amount of games has been cut down to 20, they all seem to be pretty good. The list is as follows:
- Tag Team Match: MUSCLE
- Dragon Quest
- Fist of the North Star
- Dragon Ball: Shenron no Nazo
- Kinnikuman: Kinnikusei Oui Soudatsusen
- Saint Seiya: Ougon Densetsu
