The sly detectives over on NeoGAF have discovered that Sony has renewed the trademark for The Last Guardian after an administrative error let it expire previously. So keep holding your breath, fans — you may very well get the game after years of development hell.
Way back in 2011 GameStop said it was canceled, but Sony continued to insist The Last Guardian was still coming. I’d imagine it will eventually, otherwise Sony wouldn’t waste money on renewing the trademark, but will it ever live up to the expectations of fans who have been waiting for what seems like forever?
