Unlocks each episode of the violent drama title
Telltale Games has announced via twitter that their current storytelling adventure The Walking Dead: The Final Season will see physical release in the form of a “Season Pass Disc”, coming in November for PS4 and Xbox One.
Essentially, the disc will contain the first two episodes of the new interactive horror-drama; Done Running and Suffer Little Children, but will also unlock downloads for the final two episodes, Broken Toys and Take Us Back, as and when they are released. A Nintendo Switch cartridge containing the series is intended for release at a later date.
Telltale have stated that they aim to have the whole of The Walking Dead: The Final Season available by mid-December. I checked out Done Running a couple of weeks back, finding it to be an improvement upon recent titles, but that fans shouldn’t expect anything too revolutionary in terms of mechanics and action.
