As a general rule, I’m not a huge fan of bands with names that start with “the.” Don’t ask me why, but that’s just the way it is. Maybe it’s because it looks stupid when I have to type something like “Among this week’s Rock Band downloadable content is the The Police song, ‘Truth Hits Everybody.'”
It just looks silly. So instead, pasted directly from Dyganth’s Cblog (which was pasted directly from the official Rock Band forums), here we go:
This week’s DLC for $1.99 per song (160 Microsoft Points)
“Complete Control” by the Clash (master)
“Truth Hits Everybody” by the Police (master)
“Teenage Lobotomy” by the Ramones (master)These songs can also be bought in a 3-song pack for $5.49 (440 Microsoft points)
I have to thank Harmonix for this week’s downloadable content. Because I’m thrilled with the selections? Quite the contrary. This will be the first week since launch in which I will not be spending my MS Points on songs for this damned game. You’ve had me by the balls since November, Harmonix — they appreciate the break this week.
The songs will be available tomorrow on Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network this Thursday. Can someone tell me that I’ll be missing something by passing on this week’s selections, or is everyone with me on this?
