Feels like it’s been awhile since Harmonix and MTV Games dropped a full album on the Rock Band Music Store, doesn’t it?
They’re remedying that next week by cramping up your hands with Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble’s debut record, Texas Flood. The album features ten songs, some of which you might know: “Love Struck Baby,” “Pride and Joy,” “Texas Flood,” “Tell Me,” “Rude Mood,” “Testify,” “Mary Had A Little Lamb,” “Dirty Pool,” “I’m Cryin,” and “Lenny.”
The full album will run you $15.99 (or 1280 MS Points on the Xbox 360), or individual tracks can be purchased for the usual $1.99.
And speaking of full albums, if you picked up No Doubt’s The Singles 1992-2003 and felt something was missing, that’s being addressed as well. No Doubt’s “New” is being thrown on the store next week, too. That’ll cost ya’ $1.99, if you’re interested.
Personally, I’m not a huge fan of Stevie Ray Vaughan or the crushing instrument difficulty that will come with Texas Flood. But that’s just me, and I know some of will be excited. So go ahead, express your excitement in the comments.
