Originally slated for a June 2014 release, then pushed back to October 2014, voice-controlled strategy game There Came an Echo is now projected to release by early February 2015. That’s only a few months away! According to developer Iridium Studios, the script and voice recording is all complete, and now there is a trailer showing off the cast.

Most notable among the cast are Tabletop host Wil Wheaton as protagonist Corrin and longtime Destructoid favorite Ashly Burch as a shadowy overseer figure named Val. Others on the roster include Laura Bailey, Cindy Robinson, Yuri Lowenthal, and Cassandra Morris. All of those are highlighted in the video above, accompanied by a backing track that is recognizable as a work of Jimmy “Big Giant Circles” Hinson.

As a story trailer, it sets up some interesting questions. Resurrection/cloning/something sci-fi is implied with the line “You seem awfully afraid of death for someone who can just be brought back.” The trailer ends with the line “She’s always watching,” which might refer to Burch’s character Val.
