The new Kid Icarus title unveiled at E3 last month was the subject of much chatter around the show floor and I’m eager for more information to come out on it. Masahiro Sakurai spoke with GamesMaster magazine for an interview published in this week’s issue where he suggested that a competitive online mode may be in the cards for the game.
Saying that the online capabilities of the new handheld were currently being tested, Sakurai seems to be keeping his options open. “There could be some versus play but we can’t go into any detail,” said Sakurai. “There are a lot of capabilities that expand on what was in the DS that people are taking advantage of.”
Could be fun. I can see some entertaining dogfight potential there.
