There’s a bearded Tyrannosaurus rex Pokemon

And he’s just the best

With each new generation of Pokemon, there are fans who long for past designs, while others embrace the newcomers — or at least attempt to. I’ve always tried to celebrate the individual Pokemon designs rather than judge them collectively. To that end, Tyrantrum is my new favorite.

First of all, its name is Tyrantrum — how perfect is that? Second, he’s a T. rex with a beard. Oh, and his species is “Despot Pokemon.” Yes, I’m quite the fan of this Rock/Dragon type. The other evolved fossil Pokemon from X and Y — the Rock/Ice type Aurorus — can’t possibly compete in my mind, even if it is cute. Which one will you choose?
