There’s now a 10-hour demo for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2

You don’t need an EA Access account, either

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 has slipped out of my nightly rotation, but I clocked I don’t even wanna know how many hours when I was still actively playing. If you were thinking of getting into the wacky shooter but haven’t committed, there is a 10-hour trial on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

That’s enough time to get a feel for the story missions, the hub world side stuff, and also dip into the competitive multiplayer. The only catch I’m seeing is that the trial is a limited-time offer lasting until Tuesday, May 10 at 10:00am Pacific. Which, hey, that’s not too bad.

You’re on the clock when the game is open, “so if you want to conserve your time, make sure you close the game when you’re finished playing.” Oh, and progress does carry into the full version.
