One of the first games I can remember renting for the PS1 was the original Rayman. While the 3D entries were all fantastic (Rayman 2: The Great Escape being the most notable), I’ve always longed for the series to go back to its 2D roots. When Rayman: Origins was announced a couple years ago and was touting an exceptionally gorgeous 2D engine, you know I was all about it.
This new trailer only reaffirms my initial excitement. It shows off 10 examples of, for the most part, traditional elements of platforming games. You can look forward to running, swimming, zip-lines, wall-running and using helping hands like never before. All running in that beautiful UbiArt Framework. I need this game.
