Nintendo is in a bug-fixing mood with Animal Crossing: New Horizons this week.

After addressing several huge game-breaking glitches with version 1.1.2, 1.1.3 kind of came outta nowhere to immediately address something that had been dominating the conversation in pretty much every Animal Crossing community: balloons.

Players were surprised to find out that after popping 300 balloons, no more of them showed up on their island. This turned out to be a bug, not a feature, and after many folks wrote into Nintendo to get it fixed, a patch has been swiftly rolled out that solely takes care of the problem.

According to the 1.1.3 patch notes, it literally just deals with balloons: “Fixed a bug where balloons would not fly under certain conditions.” And there you have it! With Bunny Day (Easter) happening right now, they thankfully got this under control before it became a bigger issue.
