Tom Clancy’s EndWar Online closed beta starts today, runs through November

‘War never ends’

I had forgotten about Tom Clancy’s EndWar Online. It was originally announced just about two years ago, took on some alpha playtesters, and went dark to everybody else. Today, it is coming out of alpha and into a closed beta phase. Ubisoft sent some new screenshots along, and they look all right, for a browser-based free-to-play strategy game.

Some of the in-game shots show the MOBA influence, with three lanes of combat for the tanks and choppers to traverse. EndWar Online maintains the rock-paper-scissors element the previous game featured, in addition to new units with their own interactions.

The beta is set to run for about two months, “until the beginning of November.” Ubisoft is maintaining a pool of testers from the alpha phase, but will be adding new playtesters via a lottery system. Those who want to sign up for a chance to play before the official launch can head to the EndWar Online official site.
