Sony announces Friend Network for North American release

Confession time: I’m madly in love with Toro. Sony’s feline mascot is just about the cutest little guy in the world and he’s got a new game coming to PlayStation Vita this spring. Naturally, I’m a little excited.
Similar to last month’s Wake-up Club, Friend Network is an application for PS Vita that looks to combine social and gaming elements to help make the mundanities of daily life a little more interesting. Already something of a hit in Japan, the title sounds something like an Animal Crossing-social game hybrid with Twitter and Facebook integration. It’s a neat little idea and with Toro playing host I’m sure it’ll be amazing.
