The problem I have with the Duke Nukem franchise is that my interest levels started low and went downhill from there.
This is why I didn’t know that you could unlock two screenshots for Duke Nukem Forever by playing the XBLA version of Duke Nukem 3D. I was going to review 3D for the site but I got halfway through the first chapter and questioned what I was doing, so I stopped.
These two screens are everything you would expect from Duke Nukem: Ugly aliens, stripppers and a sense of apathy. The shots were glimped before, but in very low quality versions. You can now see the hi-res pictures at Duke4.net.
I still can’t help but feel this is all some big practical joke that 3D Realms is having at the industry’s expense.
