TY the Tasmanian Tiger returns on Nintendo Switch March 31

PS4 and Xbox One versions arriving soon after

You might remember how, last year, Krome Studios successfully crowdfunded a Switch port of classic 2002 platformer TY the Tasmanian Tiger. Well it seems The Wonder from Down Under is all set for his grand return, and will be arriving on the Nintendo platform next month.

Originally released two generations ago on PS2, Xbox, and GameCube, TtTT was one of the new wave of anthropomorphic platform games that ran head to head with franchises such as Crash Bandicoot, Sonic the Hedgehog and Spyro the Dragon. This new port will feature upgraded visuals, overhauled controls, a new “Hardcore mode” and a selection of alternate skins for our ‘tude-filled superstar.

This concept video from summer 2019 shows the Switch edition in its development stages.

TY the Tasmanian Tiger will launch on the Nintendo eShop on March 31, with a PS4 port to follow “as soon as possible after the Switch version,” and an Xbox One release soon after that.
