I’m going to go ahead and say we’ve all put up with a lot this summer. The copious number of gaming streams we’ve had to tune into has just been exhausting. Not on that, but we’re on the precipice of a new console generation, yet very little we’ve seen over the past two months truly looks next-gen. And nowhere was that more true than the Ubisoft Forward presentation.
It’s bad enough there were only four games in the show, forcing everyone to tune in later this year for the next batch of announcements, but you couldn’t even give us some of that sweet, sweet Beyond Good & Evil 2 footage you know we want?
