A ton of mostly older Ubisoft games are hitting online end of life status soon

A few of them lasted a while

Ubisoft online end-of-life status is inevitable for a lot of games from one of the bigger publishers in the industry, and now we have a full list of games that have died off as of this month.

Here’s the full rundown of what’s happening. Online multiplayer for every game below is shut down currently. You can’t accrue Ubisoft Connect rewards or credits. As for rewards: on PC, ULC [unlockable content] will no longer be available even if it has been redeemed previously, but on console, the ULC will continue to be available unless you reset your saved game files.”

Some of these shutdowns, which happened prior to this month, are a blast from the past. Seeing Haze on the list despite being erroneously deemed a “Halo killer” by some is kind of funny. The shutdowns also span multiple generations and franchises, dipping into Might & Magic, Just Dance, Rainbow Six, Assassin’s Creed, and Rayman. It serves as a stark reminder of the vast amount of IP Ubisoft has control over.

Some folks are reporting that not every game on this list is fully shut down (despite the page stating “the online multiplayer services for the titles listed below have now been shut down” directly from Ubisoft), so your mileage my vary.
