Up until now, details on Ubisoft’s videogame based on Lost have been even sketchier than the mysterious twists of the show it’s based on. Today it was announced that they will finally be publicly revealing the game in trailer form at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con International, during a Lost Season 4 panel which will take place this afternoon.

While there is still very little information about the game to go on, Ubisoft has revealed that the game will have players taking on the role of a passenger of “doomed” Oceanic Flight 815. Taking on the role of one of the show’s many faceless survivors, you will explore the island, face your “dark past,” and rub elbows with many of the series’ main characters. The game will involve puzzle solving elements, as well a “smoke monster” battle that will likely have the Internet analyzing video for months to come.

Lost is being devloped for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. We’ll have the trailer up as soon as we can get our grubby little hands on it.
