Ubisoft has pulled the covers off of their Nintendo DS-specific Prince of Persia title today, entitled Prince of Persia: The Fallen King. The game — meant to complement the next-gen versions of Prince of Persia this holiday — is being designed by Ubisoft’s Casablanca studio, and will feature its own independent storyline.
The title finds the Prince fleeing to a deserted kingdom, only to find that it’s already been touched by the Corruption, the dark substance that infects and destroys lands. In his quest to fight the Corruption, the Prince meets an all-new playable creature, The Magus. Players wlil be able to switch between the Prince and The Magus to both fight and solve puzzles in the game’s 50-plus areas.
Prince of Persia: The Fallen King is set to ship alongside the console versions this holiday. Press release with details if you’re interested in that sort of thing can be found after the jump.
