Ubisoft used the Watch Dogs delay to add new content

Maybe the Wii U version will have a ton of new stuff

Remember how Watch Dogs didn’t launch alongside the new consoles like it was supposed to? Nah, you’ve probably forgotten by now. Anyway, it looks like something good’s going to come out of that delay apart from, you know, making sure the game works.

It seems like the developers took the postponement as an opportunity to add some extra content to the game. How do we know that? Well, the first indication was that the Australian ratings board reclassified the game with a stricter rating, followed by Ubisoft confirming the additional content.

The reason for the reclassification is pretty dark. According to the report which was obtained by Kotaku Australia, the new scenes added to the game implied sexual violence and human trafficking. Sexual violence is subject matter that will garner an automatic R18+ rating from the Australian Classifications Board.
