It’s Tuesday, and that means another look at the always unimaginative UK Charts. FIFA 09 and Call of Duty: World at War have been jockeying for the number one slot for a while, but FIFA has held firm for a second week, proving that England’s love of football eventually over-rules England’s love of killing people from other countries — though it’s always a close-run thing.
Otherwise, the usual chav-pleasing stuff fills the chart. Are there seriously people in England left alive who don’t own Need for Speed yet want it? For a country that’s not very big, a ridiculous amount of people are still purchasing Wii Fit as well. Hopefully by the time February hits, we’ll have something different to talk about. Until then, it’s the usual story.
I apologize for my homeland’s boring, boring sales chart.
