When you buy blockbuster games like Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Assassin’s Creed IV, or Watch Dogs on PlayStation 3 and decide that you want to own them again but on PS4 — who are you people? — you’ll be able to save some money.
For a limited time, “upgrading” to next-gen by purchasing the digital versions of any of these four games will earn you a “significantly discounted price,” according to Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Andrew House. It’d have to be pretty darn significant for me to ever consider something like this, but I can see a certain type of gamer getting value out of the offer.
