C’mon! Do the Final Fantasy Victory Dance, complete with fist pumps, as role-playing classic Final Fantasy VI is available on the PlayStation Network today. One of the finest videogames ever made is now ready for play on your PSP or PS3 for the price of $9.99.
This is the Final Fantasy Anthology version, which we first saw in 1999. I was happy to get it then, and I’m just as happy to see it again now. This game blew my freaking mind when it first came out, and it still holds up really well today. World-class operas, creepy ghost trains, sky-shaking summons, steampunk mechs, Moogles and the amazing Kefka. What a killer game.
Speaking of the “Victory Fanfare,” I love how the Final Fantasy VI version is disco themed. If you want to fist pump along, there’s a 15-minute (!) loop after the jump.
