Well, you wouldn’t be the first first. That honor goes to someone that waited in line in Japan when it came out there last year. But the United States is finally getting theirs this April, and we’ve come across the chance to nab the very first one that comes out here.
Of course it’s an auction! What did you expect? This auction is held by The Heuga Center for Multiple Sclerosis, a charity auction. And the deal is that the winning bidder gets to go to Nintendo’s Redmond HQ and pick up the first DS for themselves. But get this: the end of the auction notes “travel to Redmond, WA is NOT included.”
Right now, with one day left, the auction stands at $151, which is actually less than the console itself!
