Blizzard has revealed the upcoming Season 6 of Warcraft Rumble as its biggest yet with the addition of Sieges and Raids. The first Siege, Stormwind, will launch on May 29 followed by the first raid, Molten Core, just a week later on June 5. The company also announced that Season 7 a month later on July 10 will feature the first-ever new Family, Cenarion, adding two new leaders and three more troops.
Siege of Stormwind and Molten Core Raid
The first Siege in Warcraft Rumble, Stormwind, will offer bite-size three-mission co-op adventures for players and their guildmates to lay siege to the Human city of Stormwind. Successful sieges will earn all participants some mighty rewards for their efforts.
Raids on the other hand, the first of which will be Molten Core, will serve as the tower defense/RTS hybrid most challenging content yet. Designed as a co-op gauntlet, Molten Core will require two players to strategize and execute that strategy to take out Ragnaros and his minions to earn powerful rewards including the ultimate prize: Ragnaros himself as a playable Leader.
Season 7 to add new Cenarion Family
Just over a month after Season 6 begins, Season 7 will follow suit. This season will include the biggest expansion of Warcraft Rumble’s Mini roster to date, adding the Cenarion Family. Cenarion will include two new leaders and three more troops allowing players to build and wreak havoc with druidic-centric armies.
Blizzard plans to share more about the new Cenarion family as well as details on Season 7 later this Summer.
I wonder what Cenarion Circle members we’ll get as the two new leaders. Obviously answers include Cenarius and Malfurion Stormrage, though we may see more notable yet not mainline Cenarion figures such as Remulos from Moonglade or Naralex from inside the Wailing Caverns.
Warcraft Rumble Season 6 kicks off on May 29 on mobile devices, which is also when we will get the Stormwind Siege.
