Here’s a 64-player recap
If you skip the 20 minute pageantry at the start of the video below, you’ll find yourself smack dab in the middle of one hour of Battlefield 1 footage, which showcases a ton of different weapons, environments, and vehicles. Yep, it sure looks like a Battlefield game, but I dig the World War 1 aesthetic.
In an E3 full of announcements and very little in the way of actual gameplay (outside of Dishonored 2 last night), this is a nice little respite. Why couldn’t EA cut together a cool trailer for this instead of having players watch a celeb-fest after their presentation?
I know it must have been cool for attendees to potentially rub elbows with Zac Efron and Snoop Dogg, but the conference felt incredibly disjointed as a result from a home perspective. At least we have this as a remnant of the EA at 2016 war, and it looks pretty good.
