Burninate the countryside with up to five friends
In a strange turn of events, Cheapass Games is teaming up with the creators of the old web cartoon Homestar Runner to create a board game centered around the beefy-armed dragon Trogdor the Burninator.
Titled Trogdor!!, the board game is a cooperative experience for two to six players who act as the keepers of Trogdor. Their goal is to guide the legendary Burninator in his quest to torch the countryside. That includes villagers, thatched-roof cottages, and every tree in sight. While all this is happening, players need to avoid angry knights and archers and stop the villagers from repairing the damaged countryside. The premise is straightforward, but player cards seem to shake up the mechanics a little.
You can back the game on Kickstarter now. At the time of writing, the crowdfunding campaign has already more than doubled its funding goal of $75,000.
