America, where you can make videogames from the comfort of your prison cell, provided you’re famous enough. Such is the situation that movie star and jailbird Wesley Snipes find himself in, working on a mobile game while serving a term for tax evasion.
Dubbed Julius Styles: The International is being developed for iPhone and iPad, with an XBLA/PSN/Android release planned later. It’s based on the movie of the same name, which Snipes will be filming after his sentence is over in 2013.
“Julius Styles will offer something for both the mind game strategist and the kick-ass special ops warrior lover,” explains Snipes. “I love games that challenge my mind and reflexes. Julius Styles pits your street knowledge survival skills with your academic intellect and spiritual intuition.”
Fair play to him. It’s more productive than working out and raping somebody when the wardens aren’t looking, which is what every other prisoner in the world definitely does.
