The cosmic Ultra Space has transcended into our world, clashing into various Pokémon battles through mysterious portals. But what exactly are the Ultra Wormholes in Pokémon Go? Here’s what you need to know about this other realm.
Pokémon Go Ultra Wormhole, explained
The Ultra Wormholes are portals that unleash Ultra Beasts, appearing during Gym Raids. Ultra Beasts are incredibly powerful, relatively matching the strength of the robust Legendaries and Mythicals. The wormhole temporarily connects their home base, Ultra Space, to our universe.
Raid schedules tie into which Ultra Beast spawns, so you won’t always encounter the same one. Whatever the case may be, make sure to prepare for a brutal fight with a formidable team. It’s an excellent idea to get some help from other trainers, too, just in case things go south.
Where to find Ultra Wormholes in Pokémon Go
To locate an Ultra Wormhole in Pokémon Go, check the Nearby Pokémon section and select Raid. If there is one available, you should see a wormhole icon.
Go to the corresponding area and interact with the Gym. The Ultra Wormhole should appear, showcasing a countdown of its opening. Depending on the current duration, the Ultra Beast may take a while to arrive.
How to catch Ultra Beasts in Pokémon Go
Now that you know how to find Ultra Beasts, it’s time to battle! Collaborating with other trainers is probably the best way to go, as the Pokémon here can be a lot to deal with alone. However, if you feel reasonably confident with your team, you’re welcome to try it out solo.
Once the fight ends, you’ll be provided a Beast Ball to capture the Ultra Beast. To get them on your side, they’ll likely require some berries.
