Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has a shockingly deep build-crafting system. Aside from random rolls on weapons, there are also afflictions, perks, set bonuses, and more. Towards the end of the story, players will unlock Villain Synergy, which has some absolutely devastating potential if used properly. Here’s what it is and how to make use of it.
Take your builds to the next level
Villain Synergy is an additional effect that can be unlocked by equipping complimenting pieces of Notorious or Infamous gear. So, not only can you get some nasty bonus effects from the villain gear tiers, but you can throw more fuel on that fire with Villain Synergies.
These pieces of gear are distinguished by having a prominent villain attached to them, like Penguin, Black Mask, or Bane in the description. At the time of this writing, there are only a handful of known Villain Synergies and they’re all tied to Bane, the focal villain of Season 0. I suspect more will be uncovered in subsequent seasons with additional villain gear.
All Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Season 1 Villain Synergies
The Terror Behind the Mask Villain Synergy (Black Mask/Bane)
Each non-vehicular enemy you kill (everything but tanks, helicopters, and turrets) creates a stack. Upon reaching five stacks, both you and the next enemy you afflict with Craze (Venom Frenzy) will deal 500% more damage while it’s alive. This effect consumes all five stacks.
The True Face of Fury Villain Synergy (Two-Face/Bane)
Harvesting an enemy has a 100% chance of dropping grenade ammo and increases grenade damage by 100% for 20 seconds. Harvesting is when you steal the shields from an enemy that is glowing blue.
Rage Itself Villain Synergy (Hugo Strange/Bane)
Each time you inflict Craze (Venom Frenzy) on an enemy, you gain a 50% (up to 250%) damage buff for 30 seconds.
