Teach your children well
Journey has been out on PlayStation 4 for a couple of days. No surprises here: it’s stunning.
I didn’t intend to beat it again so soon, but the game’s seamless online co-op dug its hooks into me. I couldn’t let my anonymous buddy down by quitting. Not a chance! Sadly, we split just before the final ascent and a replacement never showed. I had to see the ending alone. Again. One day…
I don’t have a particular moment that stands out above all others; more like a general sense of warm, fuzzy feelings that I was able to connect with strangers in a video game by chirping. (That sun-soaked sliding sequence is by far my favorite bit, though. Gorgeous and exhilarating.)
What about you? Have any notable Journey stories to share?
