Fortunately, XDefiant is a free-to-play game, so no need to break out your wallet. There may still be in-game purchases, though, with premium Battle Pass items.

If you’re one of the players who already have a previous version of the game installed, it’s crucial to check for an update. This simple step will ensure a smooth transition to XDefiant’s official release. It will work like other preloads, where you can only play it on launch day.

How many gigabytes is XDefiant?

Thanks to the specs announcement and preload reload release, we know that XDefiant requires the following storage space:

  • PC: 35GB
  • PS5: 30.09GB
  • Xbox Series X|S: 29 GB

Compared to other first-person shooter file sizes, XDefiant’s storage space is relatively small, which should come as a relief. This means there may not be a need to clear any space. Additionally, those who downloaded XDefiant beforehand should only need a little space for the new update.
