Even though it’s not World of Warcraft Classic Plus, it’s probably as close as we will get any time soon. WoW Season of Discovery allows players to find magic runes across Azeroth that will grant them new powers. With these new powers, we can see tanking Warlocks, healing Mages, and even more. As of November 30 at 4:15 p.m. ET, all WoW Season of Discovery servers are online and now live. The Season of Discovery has officially started!
Season of Discovery server release date and time
Blizzard has confirmed that WoW Season of Discovery servers will release at 4 p.m. ET on November 30. Here are the times for various regions across the world, as it is a worldwide release:
- 11:00 a.m. on Nov. 30 in Hawaii
- 12:00 Noon on Nov. 30 in Alaska
- 1:00 p.m. on Nov. 30 in Pacific
- 2:00 p.m. on Nov. 30 in Mountain
- 3:00 p.m. on Nov. 30 in Central
- 4:00 p.m. on Nov. 30 in Eastern
- 5:00 p.m. on Nov. 30 in PEI, Puerto Rico
- 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 30 in Newfoundland
- 6:00 p.m. on Nov. 30 in Brazil, Argentina

There has been no confirmation yet as to how many servers there will be when WoW Season of Discovery releases. It’s possible that more will be added if the servers are super congested. We do however have confirmation of an RP-PVP server for those who are interested in that specific server ruleset. Season of Discovery will not require its own subscription, so players will be able to access it as long as they are currently subscribed to World of Warcraft.
