Something smells pongy
Fertilizer in Hogwarts Legacy can be a useful tool to get more resources from your crops. It accelerates the growing process, giving you more yield of resources for your potions.
You can make your own Fertilizer in Hogwarts Legacy or you can simply buy it from a store in Hogsmeade. Here’s where to specifically find Fertilizer in Hogwarts Legacy.
How to buy Fertilizer in Hogwarts Legacy
Fertilizer is great for giving you more resources from your crops, so you should act on getting this tool whenever possible. To do that, you’ll want to visit The Magic Neep in Hogsmeade. Simply spawn at the Western Hogsmeade Floo Powder location and then cross the bridge on the western side. You should see a sign for The Magic Neep and a glass roof that has green Lacewing Flies within it. Once you arrive, chat with the farmer on the left-hand side Timothy Teasdale.
Teasdale will sell you Fertilizer for 300 Gold each. You can then use it at any potting table to give any growth process an added boost. You can also buy some Fluxweed Stems from him for 150 Gold and Mallowsweet Leaves for 100 Gold if you’d like.
How to make your own Fertilizer in Hogwarts Legacy
Despite stinking up your Room of Requirement, you can actually form your own Fertilizer for the crops on your potting tables. You’ll want to take a trip to Hogsmeade once more and head south of the town to find Tomes and Scrolls. In this store, you can purchase the Dung Composter Spellcraft, which is sold for 1,000 Gold. It’s a little pricey, but once summoned with the Conjuring spell in your Room of Requirement, it will create a pack of Fertilizer every four minutes. It’s quite impressive how well-animated the composting process is.
Other ways to improve resource gathering process
In Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll often find yourself running out of potions or plants to use in battle like the Mandrake. What can help this, however, is being smart with your spellcrafts. At the Tomes and Scrolls store, you can improve your productivity by getting larger potting tables. It can be quite expensive, however, as a Potting Table with Two Large Pots at the Tomes and Scrolls store is 3,000 Gold. Be sure to keep finding gear around the open world and selling what you don’t need. You should also finish side quests for money too. We’re not Harry Potter, who had a big inheritance!
