There’s a plethora of quests in Palia that task you with gathering materials or talking to certain characters. However, some quests require you to find a certain item or complete a task without any indication of where to go.
One such quest is from the mayor of Kilima Village, Kenli, titled Dire Circumstances. For this quest, Kenli has lost his lunch and wants you to find it for him. All he remembers is that it’s near both running water and flowers, which doesn’t narrow things down.
Thankfully, we have found the exact location of the mayor’s lunch. This is where to find Kenli’s Lost Sandwich in Palia.
Where to find Kenli’s Lost Sandwich for Dire Circumstances quest
To find Kenli’s Lost Sandwich, travel to the circled area on the map pictured above. Simply head north out of Kilima Village towards the location you originally spawned into Palia: Phoenix Falls.
Upon reaching this area, you should see a giant waterfall near the bridge with a gazebo nearby. The waterfall is the running water Kenli hinted at, and if you look, there are plenty of flowers near the gazebo.
Once you’re here, you want to look inside the gazebo itself. Kenli’s Lost Sandwich should be sitting on the bench in the Gazebo, on the left side. Your quest should automatically update instructing you to take Kenli’s lunch back to him.
What are the rewards for finding Kenli’s Lost Sandwich in Palia
Before heading back to Kenli, check behind the nearby waterfall. Though it’s not guaranteed, I found an Ancient Chest there that could be looted. Inside was some Gold and a Pirate Chest for decor in my house.
Afterwards, head back to Kenli in Kilima Village. Once you speak with him and complete the Dire Circumstances quest, you will receive 300 Gold, 15 Renown, and improved relations with Kenli. Not bad for taking a few minutes to hunt down his lunch!
