Windwheel Aster Genshin Impact location

Windwheel Aster is used for ascending Aether, Lumine, Bennett, and Sucrose. You’ll find Windwheel Aster flowers within two main locations in Genshin Impact. Stormterror’s Lair holds them all over the area. Look within dark places undercover for Windwheel Asters instead of out in the open for Cecilia.

Additionally, you can spot this pretty plant around the massive tree in Windrise. The tree is conveniently next to the first Statue of the Seven we interact within the game. Windrise is southeast of Mondstadt’s main city and east of Springvale.

While exploring, look for the Windwheel Aster underneath trees and within the shadows. They have pink petals and a long green stalk. To ascend Aether, you’ll need:

  • 1st ascension – 3
  • 2nd ascension – 10
  • 3rd ascension – 20
  • 4th ascension – 30
  • 5th ascension – 45
  • 6th ascension – 60

Where to buy Windwheel Aster

You can purchase five Windwheel Asters from Flora’s flower shop in Mondstadt every three days. She sells them for 1,000 Mora each. She’s located to the right of the Mondstadt city entrance before the first staircase. You may need to skip time from the in-game menu because Flora only shows up during the day.

You can also buy the following from Flora:

  • Sweet Flower
  • Cecilia
  • Small Lamp Grass
  • Calla Lily

Calla Lilies help ascend Diona and Kaeya while Cecilia assists Venti and Albedo. Mondstadt also has Philonemo Mushrooms to find.
