Where’s my f**king Forza 2? And my three TVs?

Yeah, yeah – we know. Either you’re one of those “f**k Forza, Gran Turismo fo’ life” (PSTriple!) kind of people, or you’ve been impatiently tapping your foot, flipping off the clock, playing the demo, waiting for the 29th of May to finally come. And all the coverage on this fine web site hasn’t helped things much – if you’re the type, just reading about it makes you more excited. And seeing a three-screen rig will probably make you blow your load.

There’s no denying that the multi-screen support in Forza 2 will make for the most immersive racing experience that gamers have ever been able to achieve in their homes, and it totally kicks ass that they went ahead and put in support for this feature. And no, Sega’s F355 Challenge doesn’t count. It’s only in arcades, and it made you feel like a dick for losing $2.00 after 3 minutes of racing.

Even though it’s quite expensive to throw all the required elements together, a multi-screen Forza 2 configuration will make for one hell of a rig to brag about (and if you put one together, be sure to tell us). We’ve seen some blog coverage of these supreme setups, but I’ll be damned if the videos don’t get your heart racing. It’s not clear whether it’s the sounds of revving engines (like the one above), or witnessing the panoramic view first hand (this from a demonstration in Japan), but the few multi-screen Forza 2 demo videos draw out the most extreme case of technolust in racing gamers.

Now, is Forza 2 Motorsport the type of game people will go all out for? Will there be people out there who will buy three screens and three Xbox 360s, not to mention the Microsoft Xbox 360 Racing Wheel, 3 games, and maybe a new desk? Are you going to be happy playing with just one screen after this?
