Which of the three console publishers has the best holiday lineup?

For me it’s probably Nintendo

Holiday season is upon us, and our wallets are not ready — they never are. There’s a ton of games around the corner, but surprisingly, most of the are multiplatform. That’s a huge win in my book, but the “big three” console publishers still have their exclusives, of course.

Taking a look at what’s to come, there isn’t a whole lot. Microsoft launched Halo 5 recently, and Rise of the Tomb Raider, though technically a holiday exclusive, is launching later for the PC and PS4 platforms in 2016. Xbox 360 backward compatibility is arriving on November 12, though. Sony basically has nothing to offer outside of Bloodborne DLC for the rest of the year.

Nintendo, thankfully has a more exciting lineup. They just dropped Yo-Kai Watch last weekend, which I adore, and they have a few more tricks up their sleeve with Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival, Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash, Pokémon Super Mystery DungeonDevil’s Third (US), and of course, the big one, Xenoblade Chronicles X.

All things considered, that’s not bad at all, even if Star Fox was pushed out of this year.
