Wii shotgun blows the competition away

I talked about my immense dissatisfaction with the Wiizapper at E3 time, and despite the passionate argument of Dyson Grigsby, my mind remains unchanged. A lot of my disappointment stemmed from my desire for a gun that would be fun to use with Wii titles, as the system’s emphasis on wireless movement seemed to be the perfect setting for it. While Wiizapper earned a big bunch of fail in my book, I got excited at the site of this rifle. Firstly, just based on looks, I’m getting it drunk and taking it home. Everywhere that Wiizapper is awkward and bumpy, the rifle is all sleek and smooth and naked and white and….um. Phew.

Anyway, at a wallet melting $16.98, I think it could be a must add to your collection. Hell, even if it didn’t work well I think I’d feel good about spending $16.98 to have it as a really sexy costume prop. However, I also am excited at the prospect of a gun that holds like a gun, rather than Wiizapper’s strange use-both-hands strategy. I want to forget I’m in the real world while I’m blasting the face off someone’s skull, and anything that takes me out of the game is just not going to cut it.  The rifle, on the other hand, has lock and load. Now that sounds like sexy time.
