Gunslingers galore
The cowboy-themed MMO, Wild West Online, will enter Early Access on November 15. According to developer 612 Games, the multiplayer title’s 1.0 release is planned for “later this year.”
Wild West Online‘s Early Acess alpha includes “over 100 quests,” a collection of “historically correct” guns, and two different public events. Though the Early Access version of the game isn’t feature complete, players will be able to explore the map, interact with NPCs and other players, as well as access customizable abilities.
It’s tough to deny a Western-themed MMO’s allure. Wild West Online‘s big selling point revolves around player freedom. According to the developer, players can choose whether they want to be a simple, law-abiding cowboy or a ruthless outlaw. How it all works remains to be seen, but the upcoming Early Access will probably be a good indicator whether or not Wild West Online‘s premise holds up.
