A game like EA Sports College Football 25 can always work well on services like EA Play.
The upcoming college football simulator features online modes, including its variant of Ultimate Team. If EA Play subscribers can play the game from day one, it will ensure a lot of online traffic. However, it’s almost certain that the only option for gamers will be to buy a copy on a console of their choice (available on current-gen Xbox and PlayStation consoles).
Will EA Sports College Football 25 release on EA Play Pro?
The EA Play Pro tier is a pricier version of the base membership and includes all Electronic Arts’s latest releases from day one of their launch. However, EA Sports College Football 25 will not be available on either the base or Pro version at launch.
Usually, games released on PC are included in the Pro membership. As per EA’s website, the Pro service isn’t available on consoles. Similarly, EA Sports College Football 25 currently isn’t set for PC, although pro football counterpart Madden 25 is already listed on Steam. This is perhaps the main reason the upcoming college football video game is absent from any kind of subscription service.
This is par for the course with EA’s offerings, though. The Madden games frequently don’t hit the EA Play service until the season has essentially wrapped up, and other sports games follow similar schedules.
However, there will be some benefits for EA Play subscribers if they’re interested in EA Sports College Football 25. As stated on EA’s website, all active subscribers will enjoy the following privileges:
- 10-hour early access trial starting July 16
- 10% discount on College Football points for recurring purchases
- Monthly packs
You can pre-order the game on your consoles – there are two different editions. The Standard Edition is priced at $69.99, while the Digital Deluxe Edition costs $99.99. As an alternative, the EA Sports MVP Bundle offers the Digital Deluxe Editions of this game and Madden 25 at a discounted price of $149.99. It’s a great choice for anyone looking to invest a lot of time and resources in both games.
