WSJ to Disney: psst, go buy EA

The Wall Street Journal nudged Walt Disney CEO Robert Iger this weekend to say Hey, look. EA’s stock is down 18%. You should buy that!

I don’t see it happening, though. Tech Trader Daily says that Disney would have to borrow some cash to make the purchase, and even WSJ said “Disney would be gutsy to step up during the current economic uncertainty.” 

TTD does point out that Disney owns ESPN, and drawing on EA’s strength in sports game publishing could be interesting.
