Xbox 360 and LG form a 3D partnership in South Korea

While Microsoft isn’t pushing 3D gaming as heavily as Sony is, you know they have to be thinking about it. And from the looks of things, it seems like they’re also working on it in some form.

Engadget caught wind of a Korean press release that says that LG and Microsoft are going to buddy up and jointly market LG’s new 3D TVs alongside 3D-enabled Xbox 360 games in South Korea, moving later to greater Asia. They’ll actually bundle Xbox 360 3D games with the LG 55 or 47LX9500 LED set by the end of June.

This is all we have to go on now. Eurogamer contacted Microsoft, but MS worked to step around the issue with a fluffy statement that mentioned Natal and immersive experiences.

Maybe we’ll hear something about this at E3 next month.
