So the Dark Souls Remastered network test is coming soon, and there’s at least one big proviso attached to it. Okay two, as Bandai Namco confirmed that the Switch edition is not going to launch with the others, so there’s that. Anyway that proviso — you only have a specific window to download the test before it actually goes away.
The test program is live now on PS4 and Xbox One, and will be until May 8, 11:59PM PT. At that time the client will be gone, and you’ll have to wait a few more days to actually try the game out. The test truly begins on May 11-12 from 6:00PM PT until 11:59 PM PT.
You don’t have to make a whole lot of room, as the test clocks in at under 4GB. Just go to the storefront of your choice, search for Dark Souls Remastered, and locate the client in the DLC/add-on section. See you in Lordran next weekend!
