So baby give me that toot, toot/Let me give you that beep, beep
Early Access behemoth PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is always changing. Since first storming onto the scene, the game has seen its fair share of performance improvements and gameplay tweaks with each passing month. It’s still not quite finished, but the upcoming August update fixes one of PUBG‘s most glaring issues: the lack of a functioning car horn.
That’ll change once the update patch goes live. Players will be able to beep their horns and alert every nearby enemy with the simple click of a mouse. It might sound stupid — unnecessary, even — to some people but I, for one, couldn’t be more excited.
Of course, that’s just the tip of PUBG‘s monthly update iceberg. Developer Brenden Green shared the update’s contents in full on the game’s Steam Page. In addition to standard stuff like client-side optimizations, August’s update includes some interesting features like first-person servers, an FOV slider, and a new 7.62mm marksman rifle.
There’s plenty of information in Green’s full post, but I can’t stop thinking about how much fun it will be to drive around in PUBG laying on my Dacia’s horn. The D-Team is going to hate me, but that’s their problem, not mine.
PUBG‘s August update should be live later this week. In the meantime, why don’t you see what Jordan, Brett, Steven, and I have been up to in the game?
