Don’t you just love it when developers and publishers hold off on talking about their game until right before production comes to a close? It makes for a much more focused PR campaign, and the whole desperately-waiting-in-agony thing is less of an annoyance.
Metal Slug XX is coming out soon. Like, real soon. February 23, folks. Since it’s more or less what DS players experienced in Metal Slug 7 with a few new additions, I can see why things happened this way. Some may see this as a negative, but personally, I don’t own a DS anymore, so it’s win-win.
I also cannot wait to see my PSP screen filled to the brink with Metal Slug XX‘s gorgeous sprites. I was blown away by the art of the original game, and more than a decade later, the series continues to impress me in awkward and often sensual ways.
