(And protects your Ears of the Kingdom)
Nintendo has released a small update for its blockbuster release The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The new patch, which is available to download today, fixes a few issues that had been bothering some players on their adventures through the Sky Islands.
Unfortunately, as noted by Twitter user OatmealDome, Version 1.1.2 is mostly focused on eradicating Duplication glitches, with attempts to shutdown exploit bugs in which players could forge multiple versions of some of the title’s top-tier weaponry. So it looks like the party’s over for you multiple Master Sword wielders.
According to the official patch notes, available on the official Nintendo website, the update also fixes a strange, sporadic bug that would cause sound effects to randomly play at an extremely high volume. This has never happened to me but it sounds pretty funny. Additionally, the patch fixes a bug that caused players to become stuck during the mission “Camera Work in the Depths”. This bug should be rectified.
Finally, the patch has addressed general issues to “improve the gameplay experience.”
Don’t ask questions I guess. Still, at least the sound of Ultrahand won’t blow your eardrums anymore.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now on Nintendo Switch.
